Moustaches full of power!

It’s Men’s Health Awareness Month. Join us in the November global Movember campaign! On November 23rd from 12-18, we invite you to the unique event “Moustaches full of power”.

It’s worth gaining knowledge about health prevention!

The name of Movember campaign is a combination of the English words moustache and November. Men taking part in the campaign grow moustaches every year in November. The aim of the campaign is to raise public awareness of men’s health issues, primarily prostate cancer and other types of “male” cancer.

IFMSA-Poland educational stand

On Saturday, November 23rd, our Centre will host trained volunteers from the IFMSA-Poland organization, who will share their knowledge about cancer prevention. Certified models for learning how to self-examine breasts and testicles, as well as demonstration models for cytology, will be helpful. Volunteers will talk about breast, cervical and testicular cancer prevention, how to take care of your health and how important it is to detect changes early.

Photo booth with Movember gadgets and a competition

In the on-site photo booth with hats, glasses, fake moustaches and other gadgets, you will be able to take a souvenir photo and join the fun, in which you can win Movember socks. All you have to do is share a photo taken in the photo booth on Facebook using #MovemberAuchanKomorniki.

Everyone who shares a photo under the event post will receive a special gift – Movember socks. In addition, in the family corner, children will be able to create their own paper moustaches, which will become a unique souvenir.
