Little explorers – workshops and experiments
from 13.07 to 14.12
It’s always a good time to start developing your passions and interests, and it’s best to gain knowledge while having fun. Children will be able to find out about this by taking part in family educational meetings entitled: “Little explorers” in our Shopping Centre.
As part of the scientific series, we invite you to 6 meetings filled with workshops and games that will allow participants to become fascinated with various fields of science and learn many interesting facts.
Under the supervision of animators, young participants will perform simple tasks that will help them understand the most important laws of physics and chemistry, learn how the universe is built, and see why it is worth caring for the environment.
The next meeting entitled “Stone Paintings” will take place on July 13th . Its participants will learn how our planet is built. During creative workshops, they will make unique paintings with shapes made of stones of various sizes.
The next meetings in the “Little Explorers” series will be held:
August 3rd – “Colorful stained glass windows” – participants will learn how light is created, what its speed is and why it can have different colours. During the workshops, children will make multi-coloured stained glass windows.
September 21st – “Plants” – during the meeting you will be able to get answers to questions – how do plants breathe and what do they eat? Then, during creative classes, participants will create a picture from moss.
October 12th – “Gravity” – children will learn the mystery of one of the strongest forces on Earth, and then make magnets on their own.
November 9th – “Polymers – the main topic of the meeting will be the properties of chemical substances from which, among others, adhesives, plastics and textiles. During the workshops, children will make artificial snow under the supervision of instructors.
December 14th – “Stars” – participants will learn about the constellations of stars, find out the name of the brightest one and whether it is actually possible to read anything from the stars. During creative classes you will be able to create your own small telescope.
Meetings from the “Little Explorers” series take place from 12.00 to 17.00. Free entrance.
