We care about the environment

1. WASTE AND RECYCLING

We have separate rooms for separating and storing recyclable materials – paper, film, metals and plastics, glass and biodegradable waste. Used light sources and batteries are stored in a separate room and handed over for disposal to a specialist recycling company.

2. OPTIMISING ENERGY AND WATER CONSUMPTION

We have implemented a system to manage electricity and air conditioning and we also monitor water consumption. We use energy-efficient light sources and adapt light intensity to weather conditions.

3. BIODIVERSITY

It is important for us to maintain an ecological balance and to adapt our facilities to the neighbouring forests. We have installed nesting boxes for birds, hedgehog houses, pollinator hotels and feeders. We will continue this further.

4. PREVENTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

We apply environmental standards and regulations.

5. CYCLISTS

We provide bicycle racks and a self-service bicycle repair station for visitors to our Shopping Centre.

6. RESTING SPACE

We have placed benches and tables where you can relax.

7. EDUCATION

We are keen to promote ecological practices and therefore we run workshops and advice on sustainable development, respect for the environment and healthy living.
